Greetings back home to all our family and friends. We have arrived safely and are having a fabulous time. The travel was very long and delayed etc, but I will not go into details. We are here and in good health and God is good!
Our first day we went to a temple up in the mountains. Our driver I'll call him Casper is great! He is so happy and friendly and speaks english pretty well. Check out the pictures of the gold covered everything! It was quite impressive.
We hear the sound of birds in the morning from our hotel rooms. The breakfast buffet includes orange, pineapple, and guava juice. The orange juice is actually orange! Unlike the yellow stuff at home. It is fabulous!
We ate out for lunch and dinner at a Thai restaurant. The cashew chicken was really good. We also got a whole fried fish that was quite spicy.
We were able to go out to the home and meet the person it was named for and the parents that run the place. It was great to hear their story in person and get more details.
